MISSION & OBJECTIVE
Toofy exposes the raw untapped talent that exists in the independent world of cinema, fashion, fine art, and music. Toofy liberates underground artisans by providing audiences with the freshest independent content available.

Exposure for filmmakers goes above and beyond the Toofy Film Fest. The Fest reaches a broad audience of over 50 million people annually via nationally televised programming on Current TV, RSN, and Altitude Sports and Entertainment.

Toofy also helps filmmakers distribute their short film by compiling DVD collections of the best films that have played at Toofy. Filmmakers receive a percentage of sales. For more information about the Toofy Shorts Vol. 1, click here .

If a film is selected to be in the Toofy Film Fest, all future submissions by that filmmaker are free for the rest of eternity!

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
Last year's 4th annual Toofy Film Fest Presented by Pabst Blue Ribbon took place in Boulder, Colorado from September 6 thru September 9. The four-day event hosted an eclectic collection of independent, international short films, features, live music, fashion, and fine art installations. Mark and Jeff Siebert co-founded the annual event to showcase independent art in its rawest, purest form.

All submissions must be mailed by June 10, 2008. Entry fees must be paid in United States currency.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
• Include a 1/2" VHS NTSC or DVD NTSC of the film for the review committee. Please send one 1/2" VHS NTSC tape or DVD NTSC for each film you are submitting along with the proper submission fee per film.
• 50 word synopsis of the film or video
• Director's biography
• Full cast and crew list including musical composition credits
• Press Kit, if available, with stills from the work (OPTIONAL)
• Works must be in original language. If needed use English subtitles only.
• For STUDENT submissions - include a copy of the Director's valid student ID.

SELECTION PROCESS:
The TOOFY selection committee, made up of industry professionals, will review all films. Notifications will be emailed and all committee decisions are final.

All shipments must be prepaid.
